Uber is a global company with more than 40,000 employees and operates in more than 60 countries.
But the company’s reputation has been tarnished in recent years after it was found to be the main provider of illegal and unsafe driving and was the subject of a class-action lawsuit in 2016.
A California court ruled in favor of Uber and the driver in the case, and in October 2017, Uber agreed to pay $19 million to settle a similar lawsuit.
Uber’s pregnancy rate is at least twice the national average, according to Uber’s own data.
Last year, Uber’s average pregnancy rate was 2.2 pregnancies per 1,000 women.
Uber said it would increase its pregnancy rate for its drivers in the near future.
The company also announced last week that it would be hiring more than 30,000 new drivers.
Uber has been embroiled in a number of sexual harassment allegations, including claims of sexual misconduct against one of its former executives, Travis Kalanick.
The allegations prompted Kalanik to resign as CEO and was also a factor in the resignation of a top Uber executive, Susan Fowler.
Uber also announced that it was pulling a feature from its app called UberPool that offered users the option to send photos and videos of themselves having sex with other drivers.
The app is not available in the U.S. and has not been updated since June.
